On Maui, we live for sunshine. Never tiring of bright warm days, hanging out on the beach and surfing are some of our favorite things! But we also love our lush green plants, jungles, and palm trees; and for those things to flourish, we understand the island needs a good rain storm every once in a while. If you are on the island, you know as well as we do that Maui has been experiencing some crazy storm conditions lately, perfect time to cozy up on a rainy day.

While this means a break from beach days, it also means a chance to get bundled up in your favorite cozy blanket, sip on hot coffee, and dive in to an awesome book. Several of our Belle Surf baristas are avid books worms, and can not only confirm that the cafe is one of the best places to relax and read, but also recommend some great literature they’ve been enjoying themselves.

Detailed scene descriptions and twisting character development makes this novel a joy to read.
